Hong Kong

As one of the most exciting and energetic cities in the world, Hong Kong is a hot destination for travelers to China. It is dubbed as “pearl of the Orient”. There are several 'bests' of Hong Kong: the world's best night view, best skyline, best shopping paradise, best gourmet's paradise and so on. The city is a beautiful blend of western and eastern, ancient and modern and no trip to China is complete without a stop Hong Kong.

Day 02

Half day tour (about 4 hours) to the Victoria Peak, the Repulse Bay, Stanley Market and Aberdeen Fishing Village. Afternoon is free at leisure.

Accommodation:

Victoria Peak

Victoria Peak: There’s a reason why The Peak is one of the most popular attractions in Hong Kong: It is absolutely incredible! Looking down from The Peak you’ll be amazed by the spectacular view of the surrounding city skyline, the world-famous Victoria Harbour and Kowloon, towering skyscrapers and peaceful green hillsides. High above Hong Kong Island on the ’back of the Dragon’, Victoria Peak is the City of Life’s premier visitor attraction, providing magnificent harbour and city views. Arriving late afternoon enables you to experience the dazzling panorama of Hong Kong Island, the harbour, Kowloon and the hills beyond. Later, you can thrill to the neon-dotted skyline by night. What’s more, The Peak offers visitors a multitude of fantastic entertainment, dining and shopping options.

Aberdeen: Abeerbeen Harbor has been made famous by movies with the traditional rowing boat of Hong Kongers wearing the conical hats and living in on-the-water fishing village of boats. You will see the famous Jumbo Boat Restaurant made well known by a James Bond movie. This is a sanctuary for boats during the typhoons. The surrounded area is now so well-built, the slumps of the 60’s on the hillslopes have all been replaced by sparkling modern high rises. It is a fun boating trip not to be missed if time permits.

Repulse Bay: Primarily a well-to-do residential area, sun-drenched Repulse Bay has a relaxed resort-like atmosphere. The wide, wave-lapped beach is popular with locals and visitors alike and great for sandy strolls - early morning with the waking of another day, when the sun is up and the sunbathers are out in force, or at sunset when all is at peace. As well as sun, sea and sand, there are plenty of diversions nearby. The ornate Life Guard Club is built in a traditional Chinese style, its ceiling decorated with magnificent swirling dragons. The picturesque gardens that lead down to the beach are dominated by towering twin statues of Kwun Yum and Tin Hau, both protectors of fishermen. The colonial-style, The Repulse Bay, houses designer shops and award-winning restaurants and resembles the luxury hotel that originally occupied the site. This is the ideal place for a romantic dinner under the stars. For something more down-to-earth, several open-air restaurants nearby specialize in the joys of wholesome barbecued food, including the freshest prawns, squid, fish and other seafood. All are cheery hives of activity every night of every week.

Stanley Market is one of the must-go places for tourists when they visit Hong Kong. You will find an interesting array of little shops selling silk garments, sportswear, art, Chinese costume jewelry and souvenirs. While a bit "touristy" if you are a tourist it will certainly help you to cross off all the items on your souvenirs-to-buy-Aunt-Jane shopping list. A hard morning of shopping is also nicely finished off by a good lunch at one of the many restaurants, which are the reason that Hong Kong locals also frequent the area.

Day 03

Today is a free day for your itinerary. Macau tour by round trip is recommended for your today’s itinerary, which is exclusive in our quotation. Feel free to contact our travel advisor about the details and cost.

Macau

About an hour ferry ride from Hong Kong in the South China Sea lies the island of Macau. This former Portuguese colony was settled by Portuguese explorers in the 16th century, but the land was handed back to China in 1999. Today, Macau is a mixture of Portuguese and Chinese cultures with foods, customs and architecture that sometimes make you forget where you are. It’s an interesting combination of both, a place where old world charm meets 21st-century progress.
